I divide the whole process into four stages:

1. First contact and arrangements. We meet by email or online. I ask about the date, the venue, the number of guests, the wedding schedule. 2. Planning the details. In the weeks before the wedding we settle the details - the style of the portraits, the colours, the number of working hours, the location of the station in the hall. 3. Work at the wedding. I arrive early, usually an hour before the first dance or right after an outdoor ceremony. I set up the station, check the light, start painting. Over 5-6 hours, 30-40 portraits are created.

I need a station of 2-3 square metres, access to a socket, good light. In most Rzeszów wedding halls these are standard conditions. A spot near a window or a well-lit point in the hall is welcome, but if needed I also work under artificial lighting.

During 5-7 hours of active work, 30-45 portraits are realistically created. The number depends on the level of detail, the pace of the evening and the guests’ interest. If you want to be sure everyone will be portrayed, it’s worth estimating the number of those interested in advance and possibly extending my presence.

When it’s worth booking a date

The Rzeszów wedding season is May-September, with extra intensity in June and September. Weekend dates in season fill up fast - it’s worth asking about availability 6-8 months in advance. Off-season, booking is often possible with shorter notice.
