Poster I run - original illustration by Anna Karwala

Posters · gifts and interiors

What do your walls say?

Hang posters you really like on the wall. Personalized, original - for the living room, child's room or office. The kind you won't find on a chain-store shelf.

What it is

A poster is part of the room, not just paper.

A wall poster isn't just paper in a frame. It's part of the room's character, something that reflects whoever lives there. It says something about you before you say a word - and stays with you for years.

I make posters with an individual approach - they can be changed seasonally (spring, autumn), adjusted to mood, to a new chapter. A wall that lives alongside you.

Every poster is personalized. The starting point is the person it's made for. I don't sell templates - every project starts with a conversation about who the walls are meant to hold, and what should be visible there.

Poster types

For kids, for adults, for businesses.

Six of the most-ordered variants. Your idea doesn't fit any of them? Write to me - a poster can really be anything, as long as it has an author.

  1. 01

    For a child's room

For the youngest - high-contrast (black and white) posters. For older kids - narrative illustrations with name, with characters, with a story.

  2. 02

    Personalized gift

A poster with a name, a date, a motif from someone's life. For a housewarming, birthday, wedding anniversary, for grandma or a best friend.

  3. 03

    Seasonal poster

Spring, autumn, winter version. A wall that shifts with the seasons - rotate the poster inside the same frame.

  4. 04

    Poster with a slogan

Your motto, your company's manifesto, a quote you want to face every day. Original typography paired with an illustrative layer.

  5. 05

    Botanical poster

A meadow, a forest, a garden, favorite flowers or herbs. A poster with plants that brings a bit of nature into your space all year round.

  6. 06

    For an office or studio

A poster for a reception area, a consulting room, an office corridor. Something authored that builds the feel of a place - instead of stock photos from a library.

Frequently asked

Format, paper, framing.

The questions clients ask most often when ordering a poster. Missing something? Write to me.

01 What is a poster, really? +

A poster is a graphic piece printed on a fairly large sheet of paper. But it's more than that - a poster is above all a room ornament, something that should feel personal and reflect us. It gives the home character and says something about the resident before they even open their mouth.

02 What formats do you offer? +

Most commonly A4, A3, A2 and 50x70 cm. If you need a non-standard format (a tall narrow piece for above a bed, or a 60x60 square), we'll work it out. We match format to wall - I may ask for a photo of the spot to suggest something that actually plays well there.

03 What paper do you print on? +

Standard is art paper above 200 g/m² - matte, satin or textured. Paper choice affects the mood of the poster: matte gives a painterly feel, satin lifts colors slightly, textured looks more crafted. We can confirm sample preferences when quoting.

04 Does the poster arrive framed? +

Standard shipping is the print alone, ready to frame in a frame of your choice. If you want it ready to hang, I can order framing from a trusted framer - it arrives in one parcel. I recommend frames with a passe-partout - they give the poster a gallery-style breathing room.

05 Can I order a poster with a child's name or a date? +

Yes - one of the most popular orders. A name, a date, a slogan, a motto, a fragment of a favorite poem. Personalization turns the poster into a long-term gift, not a swap-out decoration. Typography is my signature - I pick the typeface so it plays with the rest of the illustration.

06 Do you ship across the EU and worldwide? +

Yes. Standard shipping is within Poland and across the EU - EU shipping is affordable for posters (light, packed flat or rolled in a tube). Worldwide shipping (UK, US, beyond) is available on request, quoted separately by carrier. Posters pack in a rigid box or tube depending on format and ship by courier.

Use cases

Where it works.

  1. 01

    Newborn birth print

Your newborn's name, date, time, weight and height wrapped in an original illustration - a christening or first-birthday gift that stays on the wall for years.

  2. 02

    Illustrated place map

Your home town, the spot where you met or a favorite holiday corner - I paint it as a poster that reminds you daily of what matters.

  3. 03

    Gallery wall series

A few coordinated posters in one style, arranged into a composition above the sofa or in the hallway. I design them to work together, not each on its own.

  4. 04

    Poster above the bed

A narrow format and calm palette for the rest zone. An illustration that soothes instead of shouting - for an adult bedroom or as a nursery print over a child's bed.

  5. 05

    Poster for a cafe

An original illustrated poster for a cafe, restaurant or guesthouse wall. It builds the mood of the place and gives guests a photo backdrop no one else nearby has.

  6. 06

    Made for your interior

Send me a photo of the wall and the colors in the room - I'll match the palette and format so the poster looks designed for that one spot.

Good to know

Before you ask.

01How is an illustrated poster different from a store-bought one?+

A store-bought poster hangs in countless other homes. I make an illustrated poster from scratch, for you - your motif, name, palette, story. It's an original illustration, not a template pulled off the internet. You won't find this custom art print on a chain-store shelf, because it's made once, only for your wall. Every project starts with a conversation about what should be on it.

02How do I choose the right poster size for my wall?+

The easiest way - send me a photo of the wall with something for scale, like an armchair or a dresser beside it. From that I'll tell you whether one large A2 poster works better, or two smaller A3s side by side. Above a sofa a wider format usually wins; in a narrow passage, go vertical. I'd rather calculate the proportions for your exact spot than guess by eye.

03Digital poster or hand-painted watercolour - which should I pick?+

It depends on the mood you want on the wall. Digitally I work in Procreate and Photoshop over paper textures - a clean, consistent finish with full control of color. Watercolour is softer, more spontaneous, with that signature bleed of pigment. For a child's room or a poster with a slogan I usually go digital; for botanicals and moody scenes, watercolour. I'll advise when I quote.

04Will the printed colors match what I see on screen?+

A screen emits light (RGB), while print reflects it off paper (CMYK) - so the most vivid pinks, purples and neons can dim slightly once printed. I plan for that up front by choosing a palette that prints well, and for saturated posters I can run a proof before I print the final version. Matte paper gives a painterly, muted effect; satin lifts the colors a touch.

05Will the poster fade over time on the wall?+

I print on fine art papers with pigment inks (giclée), which hold color far longer than ordinary printing. To keep a fine art print looking fresh, don't hang it where harsh sun hits it for half the day - direct sunlight fades every artwork and photo. UV-filter glass in the frame protects the colors further. In normal room light, the poster stays with you for years.

06How long does it take to get a finished poster?+

I reply to your inquiry within 48 hours. The turnaround itself we set together at the start - it depends on how complex the illustration is, how many revision rounds we plan, and whether framing is added. A simple personalized wall poster from a ready motif comes together faster; an elaborate scene with several characters takes longer. Chasing a deadline, like a gift for a set date? Tell me right away and I'll plan the work around it.
