Live painting at events in Rzeszów - art that engages and delights
Live painting in Rzeszów - live portraits at corporate events, conferences and galas of Subcarpathian companies. See how it works and what you gain by organising an event with art.
· Anna Karwala
Rzeszów is a city that has changed faster over the last ten years than most Polish metropolises. G2A Arena, Jasionka airport, technical university campuses - these are the spaces that today host events which until recently were held only in Warszawa. For that reason I increasingly come here with paints and an easel to create portraits during the events of Subcarpathian companies.
Live painting in Rzeszów has a luxury you won’t find in big metropolises - it’s fresh, un-clichéd. Guests haven’t yet seen it at fifteen events in a row. They react more vividly, stay longer, ask more. This text will show you what it looks like and what such a solution brings to your programme.

What live painting at events in Rzeszów is
Live painting is a creative process carried out before the eyes of the event’s participants. I move my whole studio into your event room - easel, watercolour or acrylic paints, palette, paper or canvas. I arrange the station so that it integrates naturally with the event space while staying visible to guests.
Over the course of the evening I paint portraits of participants, group scenes, pictures referring to the theme of the event. In Rzeszów I often weave in Subcarpathian motifs - the silhouette of the Monument to the Revolutionary Deed, fragments of the market square, the city panorama with its bridges over the Wisłok. This ties the portrait of a particular person to the place where it was made.
Why choose live painting for an event in Rzeszów
It draws attention effortlessly. In a room full of standard event attractions - a DJ, a photo booth, an entertainer - an easel with an artist creating a picture is simply something different. Guests come over out of curiosity and stay out of fascination. A natural group forms around the station and keeps the atmosphere going through the whole evening.
It creates interaction that standard formats don’t have. Live painting is a conversation. Guests come over, ask about the technique, about the paints, about who I’ll paint next. They often volunteer themselves and sit on the “model’s chair”. For the organiser that’s gold - these are the moments people remember afterwards.
It gives a keepsake that stays. Every picture created over the evening has a physical form. You can hand it to a key client, an anniversary honoree, a speaker. Or keep it for the company - works end up in board offices, receptions, conference rooms. It’s an investment that works for years.
Every piece is unique and personalised. We can agree that the pictures will include elements of your visual identity, campaign slogans, local motifs. Or stick to a pure portrait form - that’s your decision.
It builds the image of a culturally aware company. Inviting an artist to an event communicates something banners cannot say. It says: we care about detail, we have refined taste, we invest in higher-order values. That builds the brand’s position over the long term.

Which events in Rzeszów gain from live painting
Trade fairs and industry conferences at G2A Arena. More and more companies hold technology, aviation and logistics conferences here - sectors strong in the Subcarpathian region. A live painting stand at an industry conference works like a magnet. The client comes over, stays for a dozen or so minutes, and during that time talks to your sales rep.
Corporate events - integrations, anniversaries, galas. Subcarpathia has strong industrial roots - aviation, automotive, IT. Companies in these sectors regularly hold anniversaries, galas for winners of internal competitions, team-building events. Live painting in this formula gives the evening a layer you can’t buy from an agency.
Banquets and business dinners. Elegant meetings with business partners at Rzeszów hotels - Hotel Bristol, Hotel Rzeszów, Prezydencki - are formats in which live painting fits perfectly. Live art is an accent that makes an impression on both Polish and foreign guests.
Product launches. If you’re bringing a new product to market, we can agree that the pictures will refer to its features, colour scheme and design. It’s a visual comment on your campaign that stays long after the event itself.
Rzeszów as inspiration - how the city influences what I paint
Rzeszów holds the energy of a city in full bloom. Mixed architecture - the old tenements of the market square, modernist blocks from the 1960s, modern office buildings around Marszałkowska Street. For me it’s a rewarding palette of visual themes.
The bridges over the Wisłok are one of the motifs I return to most often. Their lines, the way they cut across the city’s horizon, give the pictures structure. The Multimedia Fountain at dusk - a ready-made scene worth setting into portraits as a background.
In Rzeszów works I often use stronger, more saturated colours than in Kraków or Wrocław. Here the city itself gives energy - and the pictures have to convey that energy. Clients like it. They say the portraits from Rzeszów look “more alive”.
How the collaboration runs - step by step
The first conversation. You tell me about the event - when, where, how many guests, what character, what you want to achieve. I check my calendar and roughly estimate how many pictures I’ll manage to make in the time available. That’s usually one email or phone call.
The detailed briefing. We settle techniques, formats, the number of works. We decide whether the pictures should include brand elements, local motifs, or a classic portrait form. If you’re working on consistent visual communication, I can match the style of the work to your visual identity.
The day of the event. I arrive an hour and a half before the start. I lay out the easel, paints, set up the lighting. During the event I paint continuously, with short breaks. I arrange the finished works so guests can view and recognise them.
Finishing up. At the end of the evening I hand the pictures to the organiser or the people portrayed. Watercolours are dry immediately, acrylics need a few hours. We can arrange collection the next day from the hotel or shipping by courier.

What you gain by choosing live painting
You gain an event format that works through the whole evening, not just during a short show. You gain material for social media - a timelapse of the painting process is ready-made marketing content with drama built in. You gain gifts for VIPs, honorees, key guests - better than standard business presents.
You also gain an element that can’t be measured in numbers. Guests leaving Rzeszów after your event carry a picture home. They hang it on the wall. Every few months someone asks them: where did you get this? A conversation starts - about your company, about the event, about art. It’s word-of-mouth marketing that works for months.
The most common questions from Subcarpathian organisers
Do you need a big station? Three square metres are enough. An easel, a small table for paints, a chair for the model.
Do you need special lighting? I prefer daylight or soft spot lighting. If the room is dark, I bring my own lamp.
Do you paint only portraits? Most often yes. But I can also create group scenes, motifs connected to the company, city panoramas. We decide at the briefing stage.
How many portraits are created over an evening? In postcard format - about fifteen. In A4 - eight. In A3 - four to five.
Do you travel to Subcarpathia from outside Rzeszów? Yes. I’ve also worked in Łańcut, Krosno, Przemyśl. We just need to agree on the logistics.

Wedding live painting or a wedding bartender, a drink bar at the wedding?
A drink bar is taste, live painting is an image. I compare both wedding attractions in terms of the keepsake's permanence, interaction and impact on the atmosphere.

A fireworks show lasts 15 minutes, a portrait stays for years. I compare both wedding attractions in terms of permanence, emotion, costs and their effect on guests.
